Introduction

András Rédli (born on 5 November 1983) is a Hungarian épée fencer. He is the 2014 European champion.

Career

Rédli won the team gold medal in the 2013 World Championships at home in Budapest and the team gold in the 2009 European Championships in Plovdiv. He won the gold medal in the 2014 European Fencing Championships.

His best results in the Fencing World Cup are a gold medal in the 2013 Heidenheimer Pokal, a silver in the same event in 2014, and bronze medals in the 2012 Trofeo Carroccio and in the 2009 Challenge Monal.

Rédli was educated at Óbuda University. He belongs to the Hungarian Defence Force.
