Amiruddin Shah is the first male ballet dancer from India to excel in classical ballet and has achieved notable milestones. He has been compared to the protagonist of "Billy Elliot" BBC World Service. Shah has danced professionally with the Miami City Ballet, in Miami he worked with superstar ballet choreographer Alexei Ratmansky.

The Royal Ballet School

He also holds the distinction of being the first Indian-born dancer to receive a scholarship from The Royal Ballet School.

Lynn Seymour Award

In recognition of his expressive dance skills, Shah was awarded the prestigious Lynn Seymour Award in 2019.
