Introduction

Tara Chocol (born 27 August 1973) is an American film and television actress known for her roles in such movies as Dirt (2001) and Resurrection Mary (2007) and the TV Series Yes, Dear (2000-2002).

Early years

Chocol was born on August 27, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois. She trained at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois. At the beginning of her career, she performed at the Famous Door Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois, and Tamarind Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Career

Chocol made her acting debut in 1990, portraying "Resurrection Mary" in an episode of Unsolved Mysteries TV Series (hosted by Robert Stack).

In 1997, she played a receptionist in Mary Cybulski and John Tintori's comedy movie Chicago Cab, starring Paul Dillon, Tim Gamble, Olivia Trevino, and Moira Sinise.

The following year, Chocol was seen playing "Vicki McNeal" in two episodes of NBC's medical drama TV series ER.

In 2001, Chocol played "DeDe", an employee kidnapped by two brothers, in Michael Covert and Tracy Fraim's crime comedy film Dirt alongside Fraim, Covert, and Jennifer Tilly.

In 2002, she starred as "Sheila Bumgarner" in Marq Morrison and Ren Morrison's comedy film Florida Bush League Wrestling: The Movie, alongside Rus Blackwell and Patricia Clay.

After a few guest appearances in various television series in 2003, Chocol played a major role alongside Portia de Rossi and Jacqueline Bisset in television biography Americas Prince: The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story (directed by Eric Laneuville). She played the character of Daryl Hannah who temporarily has a relationship with the main character, John F. Kennedy Jr. (played by Kristoffer Polaha).

Personal life

Chocol married cinematographer John Joyce on September 17, 2005.
