Emma Maembong

Fatimah Rohani binti Ismail (born 27 March 1992), better known by her stage name Emma Maembong, is a Malaysian-British actress and model. She is best known by her roles as Munirah in Kau Yang Terindah, Nawwal Husna in Projek Memikat Suami, Aryana in Yes Boss, Medina Izwani in Isteri Separuh Masa and Farhah in Tersuka Tanpa Sengaja.

Fatimah Rohani binti Ismail was born on 27 March 1992 to Ismail Embong, who is also known by his moniker Maembong, a well-known national arts artist and Yatimah Zainab, a British immigrant. Her last name (Maembong) was obtained by combining her father's name, Ismail with her grandfather's name, Embong. She is the 9th daughter of 11 siblings with a mixed parentage of a British mother and a Malay father. Her younger sister, Chacha Maembong is also an actress.

Maembong started her career when director Erma Fatima took her under her guidance. Her debut in the acting world was in the TV series Kau Yang Terindah directed by Fatima. The drama series attracted millions of viewers in Malaysia and instantly elevated her name and her appearance was widely covered by the media. Her fans created a fan club for her, called Emanizers.

Maembong went for homeschooling since she left school when she was 14. Despite being criticized, she said that she tried her best to have the same study pattern as in school at home. It did not affect her studies, when Maembong has proven to fans that she is capable speaking in Bahasa Melayu or English although she admitted she didn't take her Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) because she wasn't qualified since she had her education by homeschooling.

Besides being a good actress, a model and a well-known public figure in the country, Maembong is also a good artist. Her drawings are shown on her newly launched business which is @mysketchbookshawl that sells scarfs which she drew based on her own design. Maembong is building a business. Her first business was @emmamaembongbubble which is selling facial soap and beauty products. After the success of her beauty products and shawls business, Maembong now further her business to the clothing lines @emmartw selling a ready-to-wear clothes.
