Introduction

Bart Stevens (born 29 January 1998) is a Dutch tennis player who specializes in doubles. Stevens reached his highest ATP doubles ranking of world No. 74 on 30 October 2023. He also has a career high singles ranking of world No. 736 achieved on 14 October 2019.

ATP Tour

  • Van Rijthoven-Stevens: Stevens made his ATP Tour 500-[1], hard debut as a pair partnering Tim van Rijthoven at the 2022 ABN AMRO Rotterdam.
  • De Jong-Stevens: having been awarded a wildcard partnering Jesper de Jong, Stevens participated in the main draw at the 2022 Libéma Open, an ATP Tour 250-grass event.
  • Arends-Stevens: at the 2022 Tel Aviv Open, an ATP Tour 250-hard-indoor event, where he was admitted directly into the main draw) and reached the quarterfinals with Sander Arends.
  • Griekspoor-Stevens: partnering Tallon Griekspoor, Stevens was admitted directly into the main draw at the 2022 Generali Open Kitzbühel an ATP Tour 250-clay event, where they reached the quarterfinals and the main draw at the 2023 Qatar Open an ATP Tour 250-hard-outdoor event, where they also reached the quarterfinals. At the 2023 Srpska Open – Doubles Griekspoor and Stevens were admitted directly into the main draw (ATP Tour 250-clay) but did not reach the quarterfinals: they lost in the first round to the tournament winners Jamie Murray and Michael Venus (6-3, 7-5). In Sweden at the 2023 Stockholm Open, Griekspoor and Stevens reached for the first time the semi-finals of ATP Tour 250 and lost to Yuki Bhambri and Julian Cash (7-6, 3-6, [3-10], main draw).
  • Middelkoop-Stevens: with a wildcard and partnering Matwé Middelkoop, Stevens participated in the main draw at the 2023 Libéma Open. They lost in the first round to the tournament winners and number 1 in the world Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski (4-6, 7-6, [10-7]).
  • Tsitsipas-Stevens: having been awarded a wildcard partnering Petros Tsitsipas, Stevens participated in the main draw at the 2023 Mallorca Championships, an ATP Tour 250-grass event. In the first round, they were defeated by the 2nd seeded duo Sander Gillé and Joran Vliegen.
  • Niklas-Salminen-Stevens: after their great start in the Challenger circuit in 2023, Stevens and Patrik Niklas-Salminen made their ATP debut as a couple in Mexico in the main draw on the 2023 Los Cabos Open. In the first round they lost to Nicolás Barrientos and André Göransson.

Grand Slam

  • Roland Garros-2023: Stevens made his Grand Slam debut at the French Open together with Tallon Griekspoor. In the first round, they were defeated by the 10th seeded duo en semi-finalist Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos (main draw).
  • Wimbledon-2023: Stevens reached the quarterfinals on his Wimbledon debut together with Tallon Griekspoor. In the first round, 3rd seeded duo Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury were defeated. In the quarterfinals Griekspoor and Stevens lost to the 6th seeded couple Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden (main draw).
  • US Open-2023: Stevens reached the second round on his US Open debut together with Matteo Arnaldi. In the first round, Sebastián Báez and Luis David Martínez were defeated (6-4, 7-6). In the next round Arnaldi and Stevens lost to the 4th seeded couple Marcelo Arévalo and Jean-Julien Rojer (main draw).

Dutch Championships

Together with Jesper de Jong, Stevens reached the men's doubles final in December 2021.
