Introduction
Ashley 'Ash' Bradnam is an Australian actor, and radio presenter. He is currently a co-host of The Nova 106.9 Brisbane Breakfast Show With David Lutteral and Kip Wightman.
Early life
Bradnam was born in Brisbane, Queensland, and attended the Southport School in Southport, Queensland.
Radio career
Bradnam was a founding member of Nova 106.9FM Brisbane Breakfast show. Bradnam, David Lutteral, Meshel Laurie, and Kip Wightman were the original cast of the show that began airing in April 2005. The show was temporarily canceled in 2009. As the show was going offline, Wightman left to join his girlfriend, Emileigh, in Boston; Bradnam left due to personal issues; Lutteral moved to Los Angeles; and Laurie went on to host "Meshel, Tim and Marty," an Australian drive radio show, with Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold.
The Nova Brisbane breakfast show was revived in 2011. Bradnam re-joined the show and co-hosted with the original member, David Lutteral, and two new members: Camilla Severi and Dan Anstey. In 2012, Severi and Anstey left, while the show's another founding member, Kip Wightman re-joined. The new show was re-titled, "Ash, Kip and Luttsy."
Acting career
In 2000, Bradnam wrote, produced and acted in a comedy short file, Whaleboat. In 2005, he appeared alongside his Nova FM colleague, David Lutteral, in a comedy film, The Cadets USA.
In 2008, he and Lutteral were seen in Chris Nyst-directed comedy/crime film, Crooked Business. Bradnam played the character of a pawn shop attendant while Lutteral was a taxi driver.
Most recently, in 2009, he wrote and acted in Sue Brooks-directed comedy, Subdivision.
Personal
In 2010, Courier Mail reported that Bradman was fighting alcohol addiction. Bradman, reportedly, became a social recluse who living a life of lies to hide his addiction to alcohol.
Bradnam is married to his wife Jodie Bradnam, a clinical psychologist.
