Introduction
William Stobart is the executive chairman of Eddie Stobart Logistics Limited, and former Chief Operating Officer of the Stobart Group. He has two children Edward (Edd) and April Stobart. He currently lives at Peover Superior in Cheshire. He owns 3.39% of the Stobart Group as of April 2014 and also owns a 27% share of W A Developments Holdings Ltd.
Early life
William was born in Cumberland (England) in November 1961, the fourth child of Eddie and Nora Stobart. He worked for the family business from his teenage years, joining the management of Eddie Stobart Ltd in 1986.
