Introduction
Wilhelm Berlin (28 April 1889 – 15 September 1987) was a German general in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. Berlin surrendered to the American forces in May 1945 and remained in captivity until 1947.
