Biography
Warren Cole (born 12 September 1940) is a former New Zealand rower who won an Olympic Gold medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico.
Cole was born in 1940 at Palmerston North, New Zealand. He won the coxed four along with Dick Joyce, Dudley Storey, Ross Collinge and Simon Dickie (cox) at the 1968 Summer Olympics. At the 1970 World Rowing Championships in St. Catharines in Canada, he won a bronze medal with the coxed eight. At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich he competed again in the coxed four which finished sixth. He now lives in Hamilton.
