• Research interests: Systematics of Diptera; Palaearctic Tephritidae and Platystomatidae: taxonomy, faunae, biology; Pyrgotidae Worldwide. Suprageneric taxonomy of Tephritidae and Tephritoidea (Worldwide). Faunistics of several Ukrainian Acalyptrate Diptera. Insects associated with asteraceous and scrophulariaceous wild and weed plants, and with leafy spurges; agents for biocontrol of weeds.
