Introduction
Usha Chavan is an Indian movie actress from the 1970s and 1980s. She was the leading lady of the Marathi comedy actor Dada Kondke, in many of his greatly popular Marathi movies.
She is not only a best actress but also one of the talented dancers of Hindi Film Industry. She has done very mind blowing dance performances in her Marathi movies. People know her by acting or by dance but beside that she is also a good singer. She has sung a song for her dance performance in Marathi Film 'Mukkam Post Dhebewadi' and that song was 'Hirwya maadicha jeena awaghad... nako yeu huil parawad'.
She has started her career as a side dancers for the laavani songs of well known actress Jayashree Gadkar. She made her career solely and reached to the top position in Marathi film industry only by her hard work and beauty. Though she was very popular actress in her active years but nowadays she is totally away from movies and dance performances.
She has produced two marathi films namely -"Gauracha-navara" & "Dhar - pakad" in 1990 and 1993 respectively.
