Introduction

Tony Grey (born March 25, 1975 in Newcastle, England) is an English bass player, composer, producer and music educator who is best known for being a long-time member of pianist Hiromi's trio. Grey has recorded several times with Hiromi and also with Fabrizio Sotti, Kelly Buchanon, Karyshma, and John McLaughlin.He has also released several albums as leader. Grey is the nephew of jazz guitarist John McLaughlin. He uses a Tony Grey Monarch model bass.
