

Tiffany Mitchell (basketball)
Introduction
Tiffany Mitchell (born September 23, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Fever in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). After concluding her collegiate career at South Carolina, she was selected ninth overall at the 2016 WNBA Draft on April 14, 2016. She graduated in May 2016 with a B.S. in Retail Management.
As a member of Dawn Staley's Lady Gamecocks, she was a two-time SEC Player of the Year award winner (2014-2015). A threat on both the offensive & defensive ends of the court, she has drawn comparisons to Dwayne Wade for her ability to score and create her own shot in tough match-ups.
Mitchell was initiated as a member of the Theta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.

WNBA Career
Mitchell made her professional debut on May 14, 2016 against the newly relocated Dallas Wings. Due to the absences of Marissa Coleman and Briann January, she was inserted in the starting line-up. She played almost 32 minutes in the 90-79 loss. She finished 7-of-10 shooting, including 2-of-3 from 3-point range, and scored 16 points in the first half. Mitchell’s game-high 18 points, most by a Fever rookie in her pro debut since Tamika Catchings scored 23 in her first game in 2002.
