Biography
Mario Teodoro "Ted" Failon Etong (born March 29, 1962) is a Filipino radio and television broadcast journalist, and politician. On radio, he presents the news for DZMM Radyo Patrol Balita alongside former Philippine Vice President Noli de Castro, and on his own program, Failon Ngayon sa DZMM. On television, he co-presents the nightly news program TV Patrol and hosts his own investigative program Failon Ngayon every Saturday night.
In 2009, Failon was arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife. In 2017, he was arrested and charged with libel.
