Shawn D. Fonteno, also known as Solo, is an American actor, rapper and recording artist who is best known as the voice and the acting performer of Franklin Clinton from the video game Grand Theft Auto V. Fonteno's performance in Grand Theft Auto V was mainly recorded using motion capture technology.
Early life
Shawn was born in South Los Angeles, California. He is the older cousin of fellow rapper Young Maylay, best known for being the voice of Carl Johnson, the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
