

Introduction
Sergey Olegovich Malov (Russian: Сергей Олегович Малов; born 18 June 1983 in Leningrad, Soviet Union) is a Russian violinist and violist.
Biography
Sergey Malov was born in Leningrad (now Saint-Petersburg) in 1983. His father Oleg Yurievich Malov (Russian: Олег Юрьевич Малов) is a pianist and professor at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. His mother Klara Lyudvigovna Malova (Russian: Клара Людвиговна Малова) is a music teacher.
Sergey’s first teacher was Tatiana Liberova (St Petersburg). Sergey is a viola graduate of the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg and the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. Among his main teachers were Thomas Riebl, Antje Weithaas, Eberhard Feltz and Andreas Schreiber.
Sergey is a winner of international violinist and violist competitions. He can speak six languages: Russian, German, English, French, Spanish and Hungarian. He enjoys going in for sports, plays soccer, practices martial arts.
