Introduction
Sanjeeda Sheikh is an Indian actress who works in the Hindi television industry. She established herself as one of the most popular actresses in the television industry.
Career
Sheikh has played various roles on television soap operas. She made her acting debut as Nimmo in 2005 TV series Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa. After that she appeared as a vamp in 2007 Star Plus series Kayamath. At the same year she participated in a dancing competition show named Nach Baliye 3 with husband Aamir Ali, the couple won the competition.
In 2014 Sheikh appeared as Durga Thakur in Ek Hasina Thi. The serial was breakthrough of her career as her performance was acclaimed by critics and viewer and it was one of the most successful show of Star Plus at that time. In 2016 she appeared as Dhani in Ishq Ka Rang Safed.
Sheikh is currently appearing as Renya in a supernatural web series, titled Gehraiyaan, opposite her Ek Hasina Thi co star Vatsal Sheth. The web series is directed by debutante director Sidhant Sachdev and produced by Vikram Bhatt production house. The show is scheduled to premiere in 31 March 2017. In March, 2017 Sheikh have started shooting for her upcoming serial titled Love Ka Hai Intezaar opposite Keith Sequeira. The show was earliar titled as Kya Tu Meri Lage. The show is produced by Sidharth P Malhotra and will be launched by Star Plus in April.
Personal life
Sanjeeda was born on 20 December 1984 into a Muslim family of Kuwait. She spent her childhood days in Ahmedabad. She settled in Mumbai with her parents and younger brother. On 2 March 2012 she married her longtime boyfriend Aamir Ali.
