Introduction
Sam McCarthy is an American actor, best known for his portrayal of Mike Jr. in the TV Land series The Jim Gaffigan Show and Sam Barber Jr. in the Audience series Condor. Currently, he stars as Charlie Harding in the Netflix series Dead to Me.
Career
McCarthy is the son of Brat Pack actor Andrew McCarthy, born in 2002 to Andrew and wife Carol Schneider.
In 2016, McCarthy made his acting debut in the ABC drama series, The Family. Following on from his first role, McCarthy won other roles on a variety of TV shows including The Jim Gaffigan Show, The Blacklist and Condor.
On October 4, 2018, it was announced by Deadline that McCarthy would star in the main role of Charlie Harding on the Netflix dark comedy series, Dead to Me.
