Early life and education
Ron Baldwin (Ronald Eric Baldwin) was born on January 8, 1961, in New York state. He attended Cornwall Central High School in New York State.
From 1979 to 1983, he studied Political Science at the University of California, Santa Cruz. In 1994, he received a BA degree in Political Science from The New School, New York.
Career
From September 1991 to April 1996, he was Executive Vice President/General Manager for Imago Recording Company in New York.
From December 2010 to November 2013, he served as the Executive Director at J/P Haitian Relief Organization, the non-profit founded by Sean Penn.
In 1997, he founded Cabal, LLC, a consulting, talent management, and production company.
Currently, Baldwin is the chief executive of Cabal VR, a company that he founded. The company specializes in developing and producing virtual reality experiences with a focus on connecting consumer brands with music artists and directors.
He is also a business development executive at Bodhi Tree Bookstore in Los Angeles. The bookstore sells educational, spiritual, mystical, creative, and life improvement books and products.
In his entertainment career, Ron has worked with all three major record labels (Sony Music, Warner Music Group, and Universal Music Group), and with numerous celebrated artists such as The Psychedelic Furs, Aimee Mann, The English Beat, Vitamin C, Michael Penn, Paula Cole, Henry Rollins, The Stunners, Fan 3, and more.
