Introduction
Robert Thomas Eyer (1948 - 2005) was an American film and television child actor. He was He was known for his roles in The Dark at the Top of the Stairs (1960), Matinee Theatre (1955) and Back Street (1961).
Early life
Eyer was born on May 6, 1948 in Los Angeles, California. He is the younger brother of actor Richard Eyer.
He attended St. Paul the Apostle School in Westwood, Ca, and Loyola High School in Los Angeles. To his friends in the school, he was known as "Bobby." He played minor league baseball for three seasons from 1966-1968.
Career
Eyer made his acting debut in 1956 television series, Front Row Center. The same year he appeared in Johnny Crawford and John Conte starrer television series Matinee Theatre.
In 1961, he played the character of Paul Saxon Jr. in David Miller directed film Back Street.
Death
Eyer died on October 18, 2005 in California.
