Introduction
Richard Woltereck (6. aprill 1877 – 23. veebruar 1944) oli saksa zooloog ja filosoof.
Woltereck avaldas rea olulisi töid bioloogia filosoofia alal.
Wolterecki rajatud on maailma üks vanemaid hüdrobioloogia ajakirju Internationale Revue der gesamten Hydrobiologie und Hydrographie, mis loodi aastal 1908.
Ta on tähtsaid plastilisuse fenomeni uurijaid bioloogias, millega seoses võttis ta kasutusele reaktsiooninormi mõiste.
