Rhoda Gemignani (born October 21, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American actress, best known for her recurring role as Mrs. Carmela Rossini in the American television sitcom Who's the Boss?. She also played in other sitcoms, including The Bob Newhart Show, The Jeffersons, Just Shoot Me! as Elliot's mother, The Twilight Zone, Family Album (as Ruby DeMattis), Friends, Seinfeld, Full House, Kojak, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, NBC Special Treat, Walker, Texas Ranger and many others.
She also played in the films Ghostbusters (1984), Carlo's Wake (1999), and The Man Who Wasn't There (2001).
