

Raz Simone
Introduction
Solomon Samuel Simone (born January 15, 1990), known by his stage name Raz Simone (/ræz sɪmon) and formerly Razpy, is an American hip hop recording artist and songwriter from Seattle, Washington. He has been building his brand by releasing EPs, touring and filming eye-catching music videos through his DIY, do-it-all company Black Umbrella. He gained recognition after releasing his debut solo EP, Solomon Samuel Simone.
Raz Simone has also collaborated with a variety of top rappers, notably GOOD Music artist Pusha T on the track featuring King Leez titled "That Ain't Love" which was praised by top hip-hop blog sites.
Career
Upon release of his debut solo EP, ‘Solomon Samuel Simone’ Raz garnered the attention of 300 Entertainment executives Lyor Cohen, Todd Moscowitz, and Kevin Liles which resulted in a partnership between the newly established 300 Entertainment and his Black Umbrella Imprint.
After the success of his debut EP, Raz embarked on a 52 city tour with Rittz of Strange Music and Tuki Carter of Taylor Gang Entertainment. During this time he dropped his first full length album Cognitive Dissonance. Then for the first 4 months of 2015 Raz released new music nearly every week. Resulting in 3 new projects 'Cognitive Dissonance: Part 2’, 'Macklemore Privilege & Chief on Keef Violence’, and 'Baby Jesus.’ In 2016 Raz also released 'Trap Spirituals.' He was also nominated for XXL's Freshman List. In June 2016 Raz embarked on a 7 city tour (This unruly mess I've made tour) opening up for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
