Introduction

Nick Ienatsch (born 1961/62 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin) is an American motorcycle racer, writer, and motorcycle riding instructor.

Racing

He was a competitor in several American Road Racing Association classes, Motorcycle Grand Prix racing (see 1991 United States motorcycle Grand Prix) and in AMA 250 Grand Prix class.

Motorcycle schools

Ienatsch was the lead instructor for twelve years at Freddie Spencer Riding School. He later created and was lead instructor at Yamaha Champions Riding School.

Writing

Ienatsch has written for Motorcyclist (1984–??) Sport Rider where he was founding editor (ca. 1985–1996) and Cycle World (1997–2012). He is also author of the 2003 book Sport Riding Techniques.

In 2011, he launched the subscription website fastersafer.com with fellow YCRS instructor Ken Hill.

In 2016, he became a contributing author at BikeMinds.com.
