Introduction

Michael Robert Stone (born June 7, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 3rd round (69th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Playing in his sixth year with the Arizona Coyotes and in the final season of his contract in the 2016–17 season, Stone was traded by Arizona after collecting 1 goal and 9 points in 45 games to the Calgary Flames in exchange for a 2017 third-round draft pick and a conditional fifth-round pick in 2018 on February 20, 2017.

Personal life

His brother is Mark Stone, who currently plays for the Ottawa Senators.
