Biography

Merutunga was a 14th-century Jain scholar from present-day Gujarat in India. He authored the Sanskrit text Prabandha-Chintamani in 1306 CE. He also wrote Vicharashreni in 1350 CE which describes the chronology of Chavda, Chaulukya and Vaghela dynasties.
