Introduction

Melanie Bong (June 6, 1968 in Munich) is a German jazz singer.

Bong studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz under Sheila Jordan, Mark Murphy and Andy Bay. After the study visit in New York City, she started her own teaching activity at Anton Bruckner Private University for Music, Drama, and Dance. She was a member of Maximillian Geller quintet for a long time.

As a member of the quintet, she published several albums and made a tour in France with Memorial Orchestra under Bob Lanese. In 2002, she produced der debut album. She sings not only in her own band, but also in Fernando Corrêa's project, Camenhos Cruzados.
