Introduction

Maxime Cressy (born 8 May 1997) is a French-American tennis player.

Cressy has a career high ATP singles ranking of World No. 149 achieved on 19 July 2021. He also has a career high doubles ranking of World No. 180 achieved on 18 November 2019.

Cressy made his Grand Slam main draw debut at the 2020 US Open as a wildcard entrant where he reached the second round defeating Jozef Kovalík. He qualified for the2021 Australian Open and also reached the second round by defeating Taro Daniel.

On May 25, 2019, he and Keegan Smith won the 2019 NCAA tennis doubles championship at UCLA.

Cressy has also won 2 singles titles at the 2019 Cleveland Challenger and 2020 Challenger Banque Nationale de Drummondville in the ATP Challenger tour and 2 doubles titles at the 2019 Columbus Challenger and 2019 Tennis Challenger Hamburg.

Playing Style

Cressy is a big server who plays a serve-and-volley style.His style is out of the ordinary in the current modern game.He possesses a good forehand and backhand but he is most dangerous when he is chipping-and-charging and volleying.
