Matt Henry

Matt Henry is a British singer/actor.

His early West End credits include The Lion King and Avenue Q.

Matt appeared as a contestant on the second series of The Voice, where he made it to the final before being eliminated. He was part of team Will.i.am.

In 2015 he played Lola in the original London cast of Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End. He won the 2016 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance. He appeared on the original London cast recording which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

He released his first album, Red Flare on 30 October 2015 following a successful fan campaign to raise the required funds to record the album.
