Introduction
Mary Ng(born December 16, 1969) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the House of Commons of Canada in a by-election on April 3, 2017. She represents the electoral district of Markham—Thornhill as a member of the Liberal Party of Canada.
Prior to her election, Ng was the director of appointments for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Personal life
Ng immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong with her parents, who operated a Chinese restaurant in North York. She lives with her family in north Toronto.
