Introduction

Mark Coleman (born 1997) is an Irish hurler who plays as a left wing-back for the Cork senior team.

Born in Blarney, County Cork, Coleman first came to prominence as a hurler with Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál. Here he won an All-Ireland medal in the third tier Cusack Cup as the school defeated Roscommon CBS in 2016. At the same time Coleman progressed through the juvenile and underage ranks with the Blarney club. He has also lined out with divisional side Muskerry.

Coleman made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he was selected for the Cork minor team. His sole season with the minor team ended without success. Coleman subsequently joined the Cork under-21 team before making his senior debut during the 2016 championship.
