Introduction
Marcus Karl Gustav Pettersson (born May 8, 1996) is a Swedish ice hockey player. He is currently playing as a prospect within the Anaheim Ducks organization of the National Hockey League (NHL). Pettersson was selected by the Ducks in the second round (38th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
Pettersson made his Swedish Hockey League debut playing with Skellefteå AIK during the 2013–14 SHL season. Marcus is the son of Daniel Pettersson, who played for Skellefteå AIK for 14 seasons.
On June 13, 2015, Pettersson was signed to a three-year entry-level contract with the Anaheim Ducks.
