Liu Du was a minor warlord during the late Han Dynasty period of Chinese history.

Around the time of the Battle of Red Cliff (208), he was serving under Liu Biao as Grand Administrator of Lingling Commandery (in present-day Yongzhou, Hunan). Following the battle, Liu Bei marched against the four southern commanderies in Jing Province, and defeated Liu Du.

In Fiction

In Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Liu Du has a son, Liu Xian, whom he at one point sends along with the equally fictional Xing Daorong against Liu Bei. However, Liu Du surrendered when hearing of the defeat of Liu Xian. Liu Du was then appointed as Administrator of Liuren.
