Liam Hemsworth is an Australian actor, famous for his roles in American movies The Hunger Games series and Independence Day: Resurgence.

• Hemsworth was born on 13 January 1990 in Melbourne, Australia.
• His father, Craig Hemsworth, is a social-services counselor, and his mother, Leonie, is an English teacher.
• He has two older brothers, Luke Hemsworth and Chris Hemsworth, who are both actors. Chris starred in movies like Star Trek, Blackhat, and Ghostbusters.
• Liam is of Dutch, Irish, English, Scottish, and German ancestry.
• At age 8, the Hemsworth family moved to Phillip Island, a small island southeast of Melbourne, where he did a lot of surfing with his brothers.
