Introduction

Leigh Bardugo (born 6 April 1975) is an American young adult and fantasy author. She wrote the New York Times Bestselling Grisha trilogy, the first book of which is Shadow and Bone (2012). Bardugo was born in Jerusalem and grew up in Los Angeles. She attended Yale University.
