Lashana Lynch

Lashana Rasheda Lynch (born 1987) is a British actress. 

Lynch was born on 27 November 1987, in Hammersmith, London, England, to Jamaican parents. She studied acting at ArtsEd Drama school in London and graduated with a BA degree in Acting in 2010. At the school, she was awarded the Laurence Olivier Bursary during her second year, in 2009.

Film

Lynch made her film debut in 2012, in the film Fast Girls, co-starring with Lenora Crichlow and Phil Davis. In 2016, she appeared in Noel Clarke directed film, Brotherhood.

On July 17 2019, daily mail reported that Lynch will be “introduced” as the Agent 007 in new Bond film. The film, which doesn’t have an official title so far, is slated to release in April 2020.

Television

On Television, she has appeared in Silent Witness, Death in Paradise, and was regular cast member on the short-lived BBC comedy, Crims. She also appeared in the BBC television film The 7.39. In 2016, she was cast as leading character, "Rosaline Capulet," in the American period drama series Still Star-Crossed produced by Shonda Rhimes. In 2018, she joined the cast of Y as Agent 355.
