Introduction

Ky Baldwin (born 10 April 2001) is an Australian singer, dancer, actor and songwriter. He started making music videos for his YouTube channel and played roles in Musicals. Baldwin can play guitar, piano and drums. He has performed in other live audiences at Carols in the Domain. He tap danced in Australia's Got Talent (2011) and sung in The Voice Kids (Australia). He also performs on streets with his family members, especially with his sister, Amy Baldwin. Baldwin released his first EP "The Beginning" in 2014 and his second EP "Dare to Believe" in July 2017. Original songs are "Do You Remember", "You Make Me Wanna Dance", "Lara", "Are You Ok", "Its Time", "Why" and "Just Dance".He acted in Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door movie for which he also won an award. Baldwin has collaborated with DreamworksTV and Disney Channel and he's been chosen as a Disney Diary Vlogger. In June 2016 the Baldwin family moved from Australia to Los Angeles, the United States of America.

Biography

Ky Baldwin was born in April 2001 in Sydney, Australia. Although his youth was mainly spent playing sports at the age of six he started tap dancing with Dein Perry's "Tap Pups". From there Ky continued to learn other genres such as hip hop and Jazz.

At age 7 Ky was cast as "Trouble" in Madame Butterfly performing at the Sydney Opera House.

At age 9 (2011) Ky entered into Australia's Got Talent with his own tap dancing routine. He was to go on and become that years youngest semi-finalist but exited the series after it fell to the judges vote.

In 2012 Ky played Gustave in Andrew Lloyd Webbers, Love Never Dies at the Sydney Theatre Company. He then went straight on to being in the Sydney Theatre Company's adaptation of Dylan Thomas' Under Milkwood starring Jack Thompson, Sandy Gore and Bruce Spence. At the back end of 2012 Ky toured to Auckland, New Zealand to play Michael Banks in Disney's Mary Poppins. Ky was selected for Opening Night with his partner Hattie Hook.

Ky has featured in other Australian series including Spirited, East West 101, Underbelly: Razor and provided the voice of Little Nutbrown Hare in the animated series Guess How Much I Love You (Season 1 & 2).

In 2014, now aged 12, Ky was a semi-finalist in the inaugural season of The Voice Kids as part of Team Delta (Delta Goodreem)

In 2015 Ky was cast as the young Peter Allen in the two-part TV bio-pic, Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door (September 2015). In April 2016 he won the AACTA Award for Best Guest or Supporting Actor in a Television Drama and a Logie Award (Graham Kennedy Breakthrough Star of Tomorrow) for this role.  </ref>

As a singer/songwriter Ky released his first EP called "The Beginning" with 5 original songs including "You Make Me Wanna Dance", "Do You Remember", "We're Young", "Lara" and "It's Time". The EP also included 3 cover songs.

In June 2016 Ky relocated, with his family, to the United States to further his career.

Ky has performed in the 2015 and 2016 "Carols in the Domain" hosted by Woolworths and Disney in front of a live audience of approximately 100,000.

In May 2017, Ky released the first single from his second EP "Dare to Believe" called Just Dance. Just Dance was a finalist on Musical.ly's "Next Wave: May".
