Biography
Khutso Steven Kgatle (born 25 November 1992), better known by his stage name King Monada, is a South African singer, songwriter, and record producer. Monada comes from a family of five. He attended Sebone Primary Schooland Magoza High School. Monada, however, dropped out of school before completing grade 8 to pursue music. He rose to fame after the release of his 2016 single "Ska Bhora Moreki". He is known for singing in the KhelobeduPedi languages, which are local dialects of Northern Sotho.
Monada's2018 single "Malwedhe" gained international recognition and won Song of the Year at the Limpopo Music Awards (LIMA), where he also won Best Male Artist awards.
