

Introduction
Kevin King (born May 5, 1995) is an American football cornerback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Washington, and was drafted by the Packers in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Early years
King attended Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland, California. He committed to the University of Washington to play college football.
College career
King played at Washington from 2013 to 2016. He started his career at safety before moving to cornerback in 2015. During his career he had 164 tackles and six interceptions.
Professional career
King received an invitation to the NFL combine and was able to impress scouts with his combination of size and speed. He completed all the combine drills except for the broad jump and three-cone drill. King participated at Washington's Pro Day, but chose to only run positional drills. Multiple teams showed interest in King and he was projected by NFL draft experts and analysts to be a first or second round pick. He was ranked the third best cornerback by NFLDraftScout.com, the seventh best by Sports Illustrated, and the fifth best cornerback by ESPN.

The Green Bay Packers selected King in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. On May 11, the Packers signed King to a four-year, $7.08 million contract with $4.67 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $3.28 million.
