Introduction

Katherine Ip (Chinese: 葉澄) (born 17 September 1995) is a professional American-born Hong Kong tennis player.
Katherine has won two singles and two doubles titles on the ITF tour. On November 11, 2013, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of 662. On July 25, 2016, she also reached her highest WTA doubles ranking of 675.
Katherine is currently a senior at Rice University in Texas (class of 2017), and plays tennis for the Owls.
Playing for Hong Kong at the Fed Cup, Ip has a win–loss record of 7–2.
Ip made her WTA main draw debut at the 2016 Hong Kong Tennis Open in the doubles event partnering Eudice Chong.
