Introduction
J.P. Valenti (born 21 April 1983) is an American film and television actor and model.
Early life and education
J.P. Valenti was born as Jeffrey-Paul Valenti on April 21, 1983, in Hartford, Connecticut, to Paula and Jeffery Valenti. He attended Middletown High School, Middletown, Connecticut, graduating in 2001. He then earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology & Communication Sciences from the University of Connecticut, Stamford, Connecticut, in 2006. In his school and college years, he was active in creative arts and athletics.
Career
After finishing his education, Valenti worked in the corporate world, as an Analyst for a Manufacturing Company, Technician for the State Police Firearms Unit and as a Recruiter for an IT consulting firm. He ultimately decided to follow his passion and pursue a career in the show business.
His film debut came in 2013 with a small role in a horror film titled Chilling Visions: 5 Senses of Fear. The following year saw his first TV appearance as "Albert Misra" in "Magnetic Attraction" episode of TV series In the Bedroom.
In 2014, Valenti landed the recurring role of "Jackal" in the TV series Lungs. He was seen in six episodes in the years 2014-15. In 2016, he was seen portraying the character of "Remington," one of his most popular roles, in three episodes of The Cobblestone Corridor.
Most recently, in 2020, Valenti was seen in the short film Status Unknown, alongside Paul Lussier, Dan Crowley, and John Belche. He has also finished filming for a few projects that are currently (June 2020) in post-production, with release dates yet to be announced.
