Jonathan Blitstein

Jonathan Blitstein (born 1982 Lincolnshire, Illinois) is a former American playwright, and indie filmmaker. He currently works in branded entertainment for Maker Studios, a subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company. Blitstein previously created the film Let Them Chirp Awhile and a play Keep Your Baggage With You for which he won the New York Innovative Theater Award (2011).

"He is an honors alumnus of the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television Production at the Tisch School of the Arts, NYU." Blitstein previously studied acting at The Second City Workshop and The Piven Theater in Chicago, LAByrinth Theater, and Primary Stages in NYC.
