John Dennis Johnston (born November 10, 1945) is an American actor.
Career
He appears in feature films including Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Streets of Fire, Flesh+Blood, and TV series such as In Plain Sight.
He appeared in both Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) and the Twilight Zone TV series of the mid- to late 1980s.
Personal life
In 1981, he married Karla Pitti, daughter of the cowboy-singer and actor Carl Pitti. They have separated.
John is an avid cyclist. He is also an activist for cycling safety and safe-driving legislation.
