John Christopher Cutler (February 5, 1846 – July 30, 1928) was an American politician and the second Governor of Utah. He served as governor from 1905 to 1909. He was a Republican.

Biography

Cutler was born in Sheffield, England, and his family emigrated to Utah Territory in 1864 after becoming members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After serving as governor, he became involved in banking. He committed suicide by shooting himself on July 30, 1928. Cutler was buried at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
