Jerome Ponce

Joseph Jerome Gapido Porciuncula known by his stage name Jerome Ponce, is a Filipino actor. Ponce rose to fame after being cast in the hit Philippine daytime series Be Careful With My Heart as Luke Andrew Lim. Ponce is under of ABS-CBN's talent management Star Magic. He was last seen in the afternoon drama, Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita playing the role of Ryan Briones.

Ponce portrayed a minor role in the musical play Cory ng Edsa and started his showbiz career as a stage actor in theatre plays. In 2012, Ponce made his television debut in the Philippine daytime television drama series Be Careful With My Heart as Luke Lim. Before joining the daytime soap, Ponce attempted twice to enter the Philippine version of Big Brother, Pinoy Big Brother, and he was put in the reserved slot but didn't make it to enter the house.

Ponce is one of the 12 "discoveries" for the new actors and actresses of the 2013 Star Magic Circle. He was last seen portraying the role of Ryan Briones in the afternoon teleserye, Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita.

Jerome was born on June 4, 1995. Ponce is an SK Chairman of Barangay 628 in Santa Mesa, Manila. He graduated in Malayan High School of Science in Pandacan, Manila. He postponed his college studies at the Mapua Institute of Technology after entering his acting career. Jerome is also related through his father Jesus Porciuncula Jr. His uncle, the older brother of his late father is the veteran character actor Lauro Delgado (Loreto Porciuncula in real life) of Premiere Productions.

Jerome Ponce and Janella Salvador were rumored to have a secret relationship during the Be Careful With My Heart days in 2012-2014, but the management was quick to stop the relationship, according to the rumor. Jerome Ponce and Elisse Joson had a secret affair during "Be Careful With My Heart" however, they separated due to the former's commitments to his career and the latter's parent forcing them to break up.
