Introduction
Jasmin Bhasin is an Indian actress and model known for portraying Twinkle Taneja in Zee TV's Tashan-e-Ishq, and Teni in Colors TV's Dil Se Dil Tak
Apart from television shows, Bhasin has also acted several few South Indian films. She made her film debut through the Tamil film Vaanam in 2011.
Early life
Bhasin was born and brought up in Kota in Rajasthan. She had completed her graduation from a hospitality college in Jaipur.
When Bhasin was a kid, she met with an accident while riding cycle. She vomited blood and was also in coma for two days.
Career
Bhasin began her modelling career with print and television advertisements. She was called by director Krish for an audition for the role of a rockstar in a film after he saw an advertisement featuring her.
In 2011, Jasmin made her acting debut with the Tamil film Vaanam. She then worked in many South Indian films like Karodpathi, Veta, and Ladies & Gentlemen and also appeared in many commercial ads such as Dabur Gulabari, Odonil, Himalaya Neem Face Wash, Colgate, and McDonald, Chennai diamonds, Pepsi and White X-Detergent etc.
In 2015, Bhasin was cast as the female lead in Zee TV's popular romantic series Tashan-E-Ishq. and won best debut award in Gold Awards. Tashan-E-Ishqended in September 2016.
In 2017, she bagged the lead role of "Teni" in Colors TV Show Dil Se Dil Tak.
In 2019, she played the lead role of "Happy" in Star Plus's Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji but soon quit due to changes in storyline as she was uncomfortable playing a mother on screen. She was also seen in the ninth season of Colors TV's popular reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi where she ended as a semi-finalist. In November 2019, she joined the cast of Naagin 4 as Nayantara.
