Biography
Jan Miodek (born June 7, 1946 in Tarnowskie Góry, Silesian Voivodeship), Professor of Wrocław University, is a Polish linguist in the normative tradition. For several years he has held the post of the head (director) of the Institute of Polish Philology at the Wrocław University.
He is one of the members of the Polish Language Council.
