Introduction

Jake Williams is a British dance DJ and remixer, who has recorded as JX and Rex the Dog. JX found success in 1993 following a recording contract with Hooj Choons, a United Kingdom dance independent record label.

Chart success

JX was a successful project, selling in excess of 500,000 copies of popular and anthemic dance tracks. Chart entry tracks included "Son Of A Gun" (1994), which gave him his first Top 20 entry at number 13 in the UK Singles Chart, "There's Nothing I Won't Do" (1996), which was his biggest hit, reaching number 4 on the UK Singles Chart, "You Belong To Me" (1995) (number 17) and most recently "Restless", which charted at number 22 in 2004.

In 2011 Rex teamed up with Kris Menace to release "POW!".
