Introduction
Issa Diop (born 9 January 1997) is a French footballer who currently plays for Ligue 1 side Toulouse. He plays as a defender.
Club career
Diop is a youth exponent from Toulouse. He made his Ligue 1 debut on 28 November 2015 against OGC Nice playing the full game. He scored his first goal in his second appearance on 2 December 2015, contributing to his club's 3–0 win away to fellow relegation strugglers ESTAC Troyes.
International career
Diop's grandfather, Labysse Diop, was the first Senegalese footballer in Ligue 1. He is a youth international for France at various levels.
