

Introduction
Iryna Valentinivna Venedyktova (Ukrainian: Ірина Валентинівна Венедіктова; born 21 September 1978) is a Ukrainian politician and lawyer. Venedyktova is a member of the Servant of the People political party. She was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in 2019.
Biography
Venedyktova graduated from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. She studied international commercial arbitration at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Venedyktova is currently a professor of civil law at the National University of Kharkiv. Doctor of Law, Professor.
Venedyktova was elected to the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's national parliament) in the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election for Servant of the People. She was number 3 on the party list. In parliament Venedyktova was Head of the Committee on Legal Policy of the Verkhovna Rada.
She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Supreme Court of Ukraine.
On 27 December 2019 President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Venedyktova as acting director of the State Bureau of Investigation. On 14 January 2020 her parliamentary mandate was terminated by the Verkhovna Rada.
